Privacy Policy

The short version

QuranClip does not collect, store, or share any personal data. We don't have accounts, we don't track you, and we don't use analytics or advertising. The only data that ever touches our server is what you upload for a single video job, and it is deleted immediately after.

What we process (temporarily)

Background images / videos you upload are stored in a temporary directory for the duration of the video generation job, then automatically deleted.
Generated videos are kept briefly to allow download, then deleted. We do not keep copies.
Your Quran.com session token (only if you choose to log in) is held in server memory for your browser session only. It is never written to disk and is discarded when your session ends. We use it solely to read your preferences and bookmarks from Quran.com.
Anonymous usage statistics are logged when a video is generated. These contain no personal data or identifiers of any kind.

What we never do

We do not create user accounts or store any profile data.
We do not log IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or usage patterns.
We do not use cookies except for a short-lived anonymous session identifier required by the optional Quran.com login flow, deleted when your browser session ends.
We do not share any data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.
We do not sell data. There is no data to sell.

Third-party services

QuranClip fetches Quran text and reciter audio from Quran.com and EveryAyah.com. These are read-only requests for public content; no personal information is sent with them. If you use the optional Quran.com login, you are subject to Quran.com's privacy policy for that authentication step.

Uploaded content

QuranClip is not responsible for background images or videos uploaded by users. You are solely responsible for ensuring any content you upload is appropriate, permissible, and that you hold the rights to use it. Uploaded data is automatically deleted shortly after processing.
